about us
4 professionals and MBA students, with diverse international backgrounds (China, Italy, Russia and Taiwan) and majoring in Arts and Cultural Management, combined their passion toward performing arts to celebrate the World Oceans Day in Paris (June, 8th).
That's how the journey of Je Suis l'Océan started.
The destination is still to be reached:
an innovative and immersive event with great artists and professionals, all coming together for raising the ocean issue and celebrating this very special day.

"Our purpose is to raise awareness through entertainment. We like to consider ourselves the place where the environmental issues and the love for the oceans meet performing arts."

We asked our partner, SEA LIFE Paris Val d'Europe, why they decided to collaborate with us and what they liked about Je Suis l'Océan project.
An immersive full-day of activities, in co-production with SEA LIFE Paris Val d'Europe, for celebrating the World Ocean Day inside the Aquarium. The aim of the event is to raise awareness on the Ocean issue and at the same time provide the audience with an innovative and moving experience.
For meeting this goal, we created a very rich programmation for different audiences: children, teenagers, schools and families, and adults too.

with the participation of the biologists of the aquarium
Planet Ocean, presented at Earth Summit 2012 in Rio de Janeiro (RIO+20), is a collaborative film that aims to explain some of the planet's greatest natural mysteries and highlights how essential it is that mankind learns to live in harmony with our oceans.

An animator and theatre professor, Julien Bince, is going to make children explore the different areas of the aquarium through immersive and improvisational theatre.
By creating engaging and interacting activities for the children, he's going to explain more about sea-life, biodiversity, plastic pollution and ocean protection through very exciting stories and... his magic guitar!
French musician and percussionist, Guitòti will perform with the hang and other instruments in the shark tunnel. He will also let children play and free their music-imagination.
By proposing his own performance and an exiting music workshop for children, he is going to create an unique atmosphere in an area which is normally used for transit.
Visit the artist's website to know more about his compositions and activities!
Our partner, the Aquarium Sea Life Paris Val d'Europe, is very much committed to ocean protection.
All year long it organizes workshops for children, in order to make - even the youngest- visitors aware of the relevance of the ocean issue. Themes such as biodiversity and plastic pollution will be the subject of this workshop, organized by the animators of the aquarium.
An opportunity to meet with the biologists of the aquarium to have an exchange, ask your questions and discuss the ocean issue in general. How could we contribute to protect the oceans in our daily life? How to engage for a more sustainable and environmental friendly future?
